{My Review}

Momzelle shirts are perfect for nursing discreetly and easily. They have many great styles to choose from and fit well even after just giving birth. I wore mine while I was pregnant for a while also. It has a nice stretch that makes it a good maternity shirt as well as a nursing shirt. I love when products have multiple uses.

My husband bought me a black turtle neck shirt from Momzelle a couple of years ago when I was nursing our first son and I wore it all of the time. I wore it to Christmas parties as well as just out shopping with friends. The shirt is still in excellent condition after almost 2 years of wash and wear. I even more it when I wasn't nursing because I liked it so much.

This 3/4 sleeve Fancy top is just as versatile. It can be dressed up or down depending on what you pair it with. When you are nursing with a Momzelle shirt none of your breast shows which makes it my go-to shirt when I know I will be nursing in public.

The openings do need two hands to open, however. So it takes a little practice to do it efficiently. The collar of the shirt is pulled down under your breast and the inner layer is pulled up to cover. This works great for nursing. Only your nipple and a sliver of skin comes out of the opening. The baby's head completely hides you.

The only thing to remember is that your baby will inevitable spill some while eating. If (when) this happens you will have milk on the collar of your shirt. I combat this by always having a receiving blanket with me when I nurse (with or without a nursing shirt). I place the blanket under my baby's mouth, on top of my shirt to catch the leaking milk.

The clothes are all quite expensive in my opinion: the cheapest being tank tops at $30+, short sleeve shirts around $40 and going up to $85 for nursing dresses. However, if like me, you want to be comfortable nursing in public then Momzelle shirts are the way to go. You do not need to use a nursing cover when wearing these shirts. With just one or two Momzelle nursing shirts in your wardrobe you can have the comfort you need without spending much.

Momzelle shirts are so discreet you should be aware that random people may come up to look at your baby's sweet little face, thinking that the baby is sleeping not eating. :)

I love that Momzelle is a Canadian company and even better for me based here in Quebec. I love supporting fellow Canadians. I do wish the clothes were made in Canada. However, they are made in Peru.

I completely recommend Momzelle nursing shirts. They fit great, wash well and last: prior to, during and past your nursing relationship. Every breastfeeding mama should have at least one go-to shirt from Momzelle.

  6. What a great review. It's always good to know that a product washes & wears well and it is wonderful that it is still decent looking enough to wear for baby #2.

  9. I really like the openings and how discreet it is. I was always really self-conscious when I nursed. It does sound a little tricky to get it opened and ready to nurse, especially if you have a hungry baby! But, for baby #2 these shirts sound really great!

  16. I agree, the prices are a little steep, but they appear to be good staple pieces for when 'just anything to wear' won't cut it! I work in a church so I need nursing clothing on the nicer side and I think this top would work nicely ;)

  26. I love how discreet they are and that they don't look like a typical nursing shirt at all. They are super cute and flattering~

  27. I like that Momzelle carries nursing dresses. I like to wear dresses, especially in the summer, but most of them are impossible to nurse in.
