{My Review}
I really liked the Here Comes the Bride stories. I mean everyone likes wedding stories, right? They are such feel-good stories about life and love. It is so interesting how people have so many different ways to go about getting married and the mishaps that often happen along the way.
The proposal section was very nice. I loved the story of how a man bought his girlfriend a horse and had the proposal written on the halter plate. One story in the Planning section illustrated how the vision you have for your children's wedding may differ from yours but just being there is enough.
"Young at Heart" is a funny story about how the friends of a 50 year old bride-to-be threw her a shower and all came dressed in bride's maid dresses from past weddings. It is such a cute idea!
I loved the Marital Mishaps section because I believe that the little or big issues that come up while planning a wedding is what leads to great stories down the road. One nice story in this section was how a storm and then later a flood threatened to ruin the outdoor wedding of one couple but with the help of friends and family it turned out beautifully.
This book would make a great engagement, bridal shower or wedding gift.
