I was given the wonderful opportunity to review the Cake Lingerie Toffee Nursing bra from Ella Bella's huge selection of items.

{My Review}

Ella Bella is a wonderful online maternity boutique.  They have a large selection of high end mother and baby clothing and accessories. The quality and style of all products listed on ellabella.ca is very noticeable. Products from Ella Bella will definitely make you feel womanly and stylish even if you are pregnant or chasing your kids around all day. Their products make you feel pampered.

I love the Cake Lingerie Toffee Nursing Bra. It is very comfortable and gives a nice smooth look under shirts. The bra does not pinch or dig into your skin. The straps are easily adjusted to get the right fit. There is no underwire which I find makes the bra even more comfortable. I've used underwire nursing bras before and they would dig in every time I lowered the cup to breastfeed. Not something you want happening all day long.

My favorite feature is the 6 closure options at the back. This gives you the option of buying the bra while you are pregnant and continuing to use it as your baby weight goes down after birth. You can get a great fit with this bra. I always have difficulty getting a good fit with bras so the more adjustable the better for me. It is great to have six different size options in one bra.

I am not a huge fan of beige. I never buy beige clothes but this bra is actually very pretty. On the outside the bra is beige but there are three little purple bows, one on each strap and on in the center. Then on the inside, there is a surprise!

The inner cups are lined with 100% cotton in a bright floral print. Cake Lingerie definitely wants nursing mothers to feel pretty. I like the cotton lining. I haven't had that in a bra before. It feels much nicer against the skin than usual cup material. The patterned interior is nice in case your breast milk happens to stain. Any discoloration will be hidden amongst the print. This is something to consider when breastfeeding just after birth as the milk is often orange from colostrum.

The cups have some padding to keep its shape. The molded cups are great for hiding nursing pads. You could see the outline of thick cloth pads but thin cloth and disposable pads are inconspicuous.

This bra has to be hand washed in cold water or placed in a lingerie bag. I hand washed it in the sink and air-dried it. It washed easily and retained its shape.

It was very easy to breastfeed in this bra. The straps unclip with one hand and fold down nicely. The cups come back to their original shape well.

It is great that the straps convert to make a halterneck and racerback bra. Having a spare strap is very handy especially when you start converting the bra. I have often been annoyed that I didn't have a bra in these styles and would not buy certain shirts because my bra straps would show. With a 3 step bra like this you are all set for any outfit you want to wear without the additional cost of buying three different bras.

I highly recommend the Cake Lingerie Toffee Nursing Bra. It is very comfortable and stylish. At first glance you would never even know it was a nursing bra!
