{Ingredients}
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup coffee
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup nuts
- powdered sugar
- strong cold coffee
{Method}
- Sift together the dry ingredients
- Cream butter and sugar and beat in the eggs
- Stir in the dry ingredients alternately with the coffee
- Fold in the raisins and nuts
- Pour batter into a lightly greased 9X9 inch pan
- Bake for 30 minutes at 350 ° F
- Let cool completely
- Mix powdered sugar and strong coffee into a spreadable icing.
- You do NOT need much coffee for this.
- Ice the bars and serve.
